Further dilution of the stock solution in aqueous buffer or isotonic saline should be carried out prior to carrying out the experiment. Ensure that the residual amount of organic solvent is negligible because organic solvents can have physiological effects at low concentrations. Aqueous Solutions Without Organic Solvents 2-Methyl-1-phenyl-3-(piperidine-1-yl)propane-1-one can be prepared by directly dissolving the crystalline solid in aqueous buffer. The solubility of 2-methyl-1-phenyl-3-(piperidine-1-yl)propane-1-one in PBS pH 6.4 is about 11 mg/ml. We recommend storing the aqueous solution for no more than a day.
